Feeling inspired by the approaching warm weather...I'm in the mood to create some lighter, fresher soaps. So, I'm passing up on the heavy scents and spices and instead, reaching for fruit seeds, flower petals and citrusy essential oils. Just finished a "Berry Wine", a pretty pink bar made with raspberry wine and lots of tiny strawberry seeds and a "Healing Soap"made with lots of beautiful calendula petals and a light tangerine scent. Up next..."Lemon Poppy Seed". All of these should be available by the end of the month. So glad spring is here! How about you?
Can't wait for tomorrow....Garden Girl Soaps will be at Original Gravity Brewing in Milan, MI for the first Farmers Market of the season. See ogbrewing.com for more details! Hope to see you there!
Thank you so much for visiting my new site! When I recently started selling my soaps at local shows and farm markets, I was thrilled by the great response I received from customers! If you are local and prefer to make your purchase directly rather than online, please contact me for discounted price information. Thank you again for your continued support!

About the Garden Girl....
Until recently I have been handcrafting soaps only as a hobby. Several years ago I was attending a local festival and watched an "old-fashioned" soapmaking demonstration and was intrigued by not only the process of soapmaking, but also the idea of being able to control what was going into the product that my family would be using on their skin. One of my other loves is gardening, so I like to use my own herbs and botanicals in my recipes as much as possible. Over time, my "hobby" has grown out of control and "Garden Girl Soaps" was born! Thank you for stopping by...I hope you enjoy my soaps as much as I enjoy making them! Archives
