Please try to make it out to the Earth Day Expo in Monroe tomorrow at Loranger Square from 10-2. There are a lot of great eco-friendly activities scheduled throughout the event including exhibits, demonstrations, entertainment and refreshments.  About the Garden Girl....
Until recently I have been handcrafting soaps only as a hobby. Several years ago I was attending a local festival and watched an "old-fashioned" soapmaking demonstration and was intrigued by not only the process of soapmaking, but also the idea of being able to control what was going into the product that my family would be using on their skin. One of my other loves is gardening, so I like to use my own herbs and botanicals in my recipes as much as possible. Over time, my "hobby" has grown out of control and "Garden Girl Soaps" was born!
